I’ve been too busy to post any deep thoughts. So you’ll have to settle for a funny picture.
On the eighth day, God created a fermented beverage “beer,” and the stout he called “Guinness.” And God saw that it was good.

Ahh! So *that’s* the gold at the end of the rainbow…
LOL!

Well, just to be picky, I shall point out that the rainbow mentioned in the Bible was seen after Noah and his family were safely on dry land again. It is God’s promise that he will never again destroy humanity because of our sinful ways.
Guinness is an Irish beer so I’m guessing the photo is about pots of gold at the end of the rainbow, or maybe leprechauns.

Well, also just to be picky, you believe God will return to destroy humanity a second time. But this time, Jesus plans to come down on a cloud riding in a chariot with angels on white horses. He will then destroy all evil people and save the chosen few, just like he did in the silly Noah story.
God thought this made more sense than using another worldwide flood and an alcoholic Jewish man with a giant boat. Maybe there will be rainbows in heaven to let people know they are on dry land and not burning in a lake of fire.
In the meantime, I will enjoy the blessed gift of Guinness.

Blessed be the fermented beverages of the good soil of Ireland, indeed.
I imagine that Guinness around there has almost the same effect that it has here: kicks the other “basic” brands so badly that you feel kinda bad when having to buy those afterwards.
Particularly in the USA, with Bud Light, etc.

I think it is Franklin that is quoted as saying that Beer is proof that God wants us to enjoy life!
Just to be picky, let’s not get so anal about stuff on a silly post. This is supposed to be funny, not some major point of scholarly, theological, or any other ology work.
That’s my thought
